Auto Shop Cleaning Services

At SD Cleaning Services, we provide professional cleaning for auto repair shops, service centers, tire shops, dealership service departments, body shops, and other automotive facilities throughout the Greater Portland Metro Area.

Automotive businesses face cleaning challenges that are different from those of a traditional office. Dirt, grease, dust, oil residue, tire debris, metal particles, and heavy foot traffic can quickly build up in customer areas and active workspaces. A clean facility helps create a more professional impression, improves the customer experience, and gives employees a better-maintained environment in which to work.

Our auto shop cleaning plans can be customized around your operating hours, building layout, customer traffic, number of service bays, and the level of cleaning required. Services may be scheduled before opening, after closing, or during approved hours to reduce disruption to your business.

Waiting Room Floors and Carpet

The waiting room is one of the first areas customers see, and its floors can quickly collect dirt, grease, moisture, leaves, and debris tracked in from the parking lot and service areas.

We vacuum carpeted waiting rooms and sweep or mop hard-surface flooring to help maintain a cleaner, more professional appearance. Special attention is given to high-traffic paths, areas around seating, corners, entryways, and spaces near service counters.

Carpet spot treatment or deeper extraction cleaning can also be scheduled when needed.

Chairs

Waiting room and office chairs can collect dust, crumbs, fingerprints, grease marks, and everyday debris. We wipe accessible hard surfaces, armrests, chair frames, and other approved areas.

Upholstered chairs can also be vacuumed when included in the service plan. Furniture is straightened and arranged so customer areas look neat and ready for business.

Countertops

Customer service counters, parts counters, cashier areas, and work surfaces are touched throughout the day. These surfaces can quickly collect fingerprints, dust, paperwork debris, and residue from automotive work.

We wipe and clean accessible countertops, ledges, service windows, writing areas, and other approved surfaces while respecting paperwork, tools, equipment, and customer information.

Desks

Service advisor desks, manager offices, estimating stations, and administrative workspaces can collect dust, crumbs, fingerprints, and clutter.

We clean accessible desk surfaces and approved high-touch areas while working carefully around computers, phones, paperwork, keys, and customer records. We do not move or disturb confidential documents, vehicle keys, or sensitive equipment unless specifically authorized.

Restrooms

Clean restrooms are important for both employees and customers. We clean and disinfect toilets, urinals, sinks, faucets, counters, mirrors, partitions, doors, handles, and floors.

We also remove trash and can restock toilet paper, paper towels, soap, and other supplies when included in the service agreement. Extra attention is given to heavy soil, grease transfer, odors, and high-touch areas.

Trash and Recycling Removal

Auto shops generate waste in offices, waiting rooms, restrooms, break areas, service counters, and workspaces. We empty designated trash and recycling containers, replace liners as needed, and move waste to approved collection areas.

Automotive fluids, oil filters, batteries, tires, chemicals, hazardous materials, and regulated shop waste are not handled as ordinary trash unless specifically authorized and managed under the appropriate procedures.

Shop Floors

Shop floors experience constant exposure to dirt, dust, tire debris, metal particles, grease, and vehicle traffic. We sweep or clean designated shop floor areas according to the facility’s requirements and approved safety procedures.

Because oil, fuel, chemicals, and automotive fluids may require specialized handling, any spill cleanup or degreasing services should be identified and included in the cleaning agreement before work begins.

Work Bay Areas

Work bays can quickly collect dirt, debris, packaging, shop towels, dust, and residue around active service areas. We clean accessible floor areas and approved surfaces while avoiding tools, vehicle parts, diagnostic equipment, and active repair projects.

Cleaning is coordinated carefully so that employees can return to a safer, more organized work area without tools, parts, or work-in-progress being disturbed.

Racks and Lifts

Vehicle lifts, tire racks, storage racks, and nearby surfaces may collect dust, grime, and residue over time. We can wipe or clean approved accessible exterior surfaces as part of a customized service plan.

For safety reasons, we do not operate, move, raise, lower, disassemble, or clean internal mechanical components of lifts or automotive equipment. Cleaning around lifts is performed only when the equipment is secured and the area is approved for access.

Windows

Clean windows help improve the appearance of waiting rooms, showrooms, offices, and customer service areas. We clean accessible interior glass, window ledges, frames, and sills while removing fingerprints, smudges, dust, and visible buildup.

Exterior window cleaning may also be available depending on accessibility, height, and property requirements.

Doors

Entry doors, office doors, restroom doors, and interior service doors experience frequent contact throughout the day. We clean accessible door surfaces, handles, push plates, frames, and glass panels.

Special attention is given to fingerprints, grease marks, smudges, and dirt around handles and high-contact areas.

Bay Doors

Service bay doors are exposed to vehicle exhaust, road dirt, dust, grease, and weather-related buildup. We can clean accessible interior and exterior door surfaces, lower panels, handles, windows, and surrounding areas as approved.

Bay door tracks, motors, springs, cables, and mechanical systems are not serviced or operated as part of routine cleaning. Detailed cleaning is completed only when doors are secured and safe access has been provided.

Cleaning Plans Designed for Automotive Facilities

Every auto repair facility has different cleaning priorities. A small independent shop may need weekly service, while a dealership or high-volume repair center may require nightly cleaning and more frequent attention to customer areas.

SD Cleaning Services can build a customized plan that covers customer waiting rooms, restrooms, offices, service counters, floors, work bays, windows, doors, entrance areas, and other approved spaces.

From the front entrance to the service bays, our goal is to help your automotive business maintain a cleaner, safer-looking, and more professional facility for customers and employees.
